24 doors, 120 filters, 24 designs

Behind each door are five activated carbon filters—that’s 120 in total for the entire month of December. And no two look alike: The calendar features 24 different filter designs, 13 of which are in the XTRA Slim Size (6 mm diameter) and 11 in the Regular Size (9 mm diameter).

These include designs that are available exclusively in the calendar and nowhere else in the collection. The calendar itself is a limited edition—once it's gone, it's gone.

Two formats in one calendar

Six millimeters for standard slim sizes, nine millimeters for those who prefer a slightly fuller feel. Both sizes have ceramic caps on both ends, so there’s never a risk of inserting them the wrong way. If you’ve only been using one size so far, this gives you the chance to try the other one out as well.

Coconut shells instead of coal

Most filters on the market use activated carbon derived from bituminous coal. We use coconut shells because their surface becomes significantly more porous after activation—a finer structure and a larger effective surface area for the same volume. In addition, we use a patented processing method that makes the carbon particularly low in dust. You’ll notice this most of all in what you don’t taste: no inherent flavor that overpowers everything else.
