Chocolate, sticky, rosin—anyone who works with these knows just how delicate the material is. It reacts to everything it comes into contact with, and if stored in the wrong type of plastic wrap, it loses its flavor and texture within a few days. Uncle’s Farm’s Piattella wraps are made exactly for this purpose: food-safe BOPP film, tear-resistant and flavorless, fifty sheets per pack.

It's easy to use: Wrap the food in the film, place the wrapped item in a can or airtight container, and put the container in the refrigerator or freezer. That's it. The film can be removed later without leaving any residue.

Why BOPP and not just any film?

Many commercially available films are coated or contain plasticizers. When in direct contact, they leach substances into the food—and that’s exactly what you taste afterward. Food-grade BOPP doesn’t leach anything. This ensures that the aroma, taste, and texture remain just as they should be, rather than tasting like packaging.

Tear-resistant, flexible, leaves no residue

The film is thin enough to lie flat when wrapped, yet strong enough not to tear when shaping or repackaging. When removed, it leaves no fibers or residue behind—even when used with oily or highly resinous materials.

If stored in a cool place, it will last longer

Chocolate, Sticky, and Rosin are best kept cold. When wrapped in an airtight container and stored in the refrigerator or freezer, their texture remains stable and their flavor is preserved—for much longer than at room temperature.
